W e began operating in July of 1999, and were founded by Henry and Peggy Mason. At the time, Mason Funeral Home was the only locally owned funeral home in Chattooga County. Mr. and Mrs. Mason opened in response to the great need of the community to have a locally owned and family operated funeral home. Their goal is to offer a complete funeral service to meet the needs of each and every family served, regardless of their financial situation.

Today, Henry and Peggy remain committed to their promise of excellence. They continue to serve each family personally.

Henry and Peggy live in Summerville, Georgia and have been married for 39 years. They have one daughter, Ashley, who is married and lives in the Metro Atlanta area.
